Ingredients

1boneless chuck roast
1 ½ teaspoonsHouse dressing
salt, black pepper, garlic powder
¼ cupvegetable oil
1onion
thinly sliced
3bay leaves
3beef bouillon cubes
crushed
2garlic cloves
crushed
1 x 10.75 ouncecondensed cream of mushroom soup
can
½ cupChardonnay
or other white wine
1 packagemushrooms
cleaned and halved or quartered
Instructions
Step 1
Sprinkle roast on all sides with house seasoning. Using a skillet over high heat, sear roast until brown in oil. Place roast in a slow cooker, and layer onions, bay leaves, crushed bouillon cubes, garlic and cream of mushroom soup. Add the wine and cover with enough water to cover all the ingredients. Cook on Low setting for 8 hours.
