Pork balls & sticky sweet sauce with rice

Note: if want extra sauce to drizzle over rice just add as much of the sauce ingredients as you like to get enough. As heated the mix does reduce so don't be afraid to use a fair amount of soy sauce!

Ingredients
3 servings
3 cupsrice
for rice cooker
500gpork and veal mince
spring onions
chopped
ginger paste
minced garlic
salt
black pepper
red chilli flakes
optional
For the sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Start cooking rice in rice cooker
Step 2
Mix mince, spring onion, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and optional chilli
Step 3
Roll mince mixture into small balls, can make approx 12 depending on size
Step 4
Heat sesame oil in frypan and add pork balls. Cook all the way through and set to the side on a plate when done
Step 5
Using the same frypan (don't clean it), add soy sauce, vinegar and honey (or sugar). Stir this quickly
Step 6
Add pork balls back into pan with sticky sauce and coat them in it
Step 7
Serve balls over rice
