This recipe will make an extra large lasagna - enough for a bigger crowd. Make sure your baking dish accounts for the heaviness of it! You can also make two smaller sets. Didn’t try freezing, but maybe someone would.

Step 1
Ground the meat and start frying it on the frying pen in the police oil, add salt & pepper and stir. You can add here dry Italian herbs too.
Step 2
On a separate frying pan, fry onion and garlic, then add to the meat and stir

Shred tomatoes into the meat. You should be able to do it well, disposing the skin; then stir all

Add half of the tomato sauce into the meat, add basil, stir. Close the lid and let it simmer.

Prepare the baking dish, spray with oil, add a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom

preheat over to 400F
Step 7
Assemble the lasagna: noodles, meat sauce, ricotta cheese. Last layer of noodles: just spread remaining tomato sauce and cover with mozzarella cheese.
Step 8
Bake for 45 min. Take out and let it sit for another 5-10 min to cool down.
