Murukku

Make murukku as soon as dough is made, don't let it sit too long. Rock hing can be used too for better taste. Let it dissolve in water before using. Roasted gram = Pottukadalai

Instructions

Step 1
Mix all the ingredients to make a very soft dough
Step 2
Heat up oil in a kadai
Step 3
Add one tablespoon of hot oil to the dough and knead it in
Step 4
Make murukku in a cling plastic sheets on an upturned plate
Step 5
Slide into hot oil one at a time and fry until golden
