Step 1
Apple & Sour Cream Slice Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Grease and line a lamington tin Melt butter in bowl. 60 deg, 2 mins, speed 4 Add flour, sugar, coconut and vanilla to butter. Mix Speed 3 for approximately 30 seconds or until mixture is well combined. Press mixture into prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes. While base is cooking peel and quarter the apples. Place apples in bowl and chop 2-3 seconds on Speed 4. If any large chunks remain, scrape down sides and repeat 2-3 seconds, Speed 4. When base is cooked sprinkle apples over the top of the base then sprinkle over brown sugar. Increase oven to 180 degrees. Add eggs and sour cream to bowl. Mix Speed 5 for approximately 20 seconds or until smooth. Pour sour cream mixture over the apples. Bake for another 20-30 minutes or until the top has set and is starting to colour. Allow to cool thoroughly before slicing into 3-4cm squares.
