Instructions

Step 1
Mix together all the filling ingredients. Set aside for an hour minimum

For the dough

Step 2
Mix lard with half of the hot water. Then mix together the rest of the dry ingredients
Step 3
Pour 90% of the dry into the wet, stir with tablespoon. Add hot water until dough forms then add cold water. Knead for 7 minutes
Step 4
Allow dough to sit and rise for 30 minutes
Step 5
Cut dough into 16 sections. Roll into a disk 11cm but keep it edges thin
Step 6
Add 1tsp of filling into each disc. Crimp the edges together
Step 7
Brush oil onto parchment paper and place buns on top
Step 8
Allow buns to rise again for 20 minutes then steam for 15 minutes
