Pasta Gamberetti alla Vapiano

Ever heard of Vapiano? A resto where cooks cook your pasta in front of you? Here is my take of its Pasta Gamberetti, made from ingredients I readily have at home. It didn't taste exactly the same as Vapiano's but it's a close as it can be. Enjoy 🍝

Instructions

Step 1
Cook the pasta per package instructions separately while cooking the sauce.
Step 2
For the sauce, preheat oil in a deep pan then add prawns. Once the side facing down turns pink, turn them over.
Step 3
When both sides are already pink, stir for about a minute then add garlic and chili.
Step 4
Stir until garlic becomes fragrant.
Step 5
Add the tomato puree and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Add dried basil, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and add the tomatoes too.
Step 6
Add salt to your liking and let it simmer for just another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Voila! You can now combine pasta and sauce and top it with fresh basil or parsley, cheese and don't forget to enjoy! 😁
