For marinade
4chicken breasts
whole
6cloves garlic
minced
0.5 ”fresh ginger root
piece, grated
1 tspcoriander
½ tspsalt
1 Tbspvinegar
1 Tbspveg oil
1 tspcumin
½ tspchili powder
2 Tbspyogurt
For sauce
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix marinade ingredients. Add cubed chicken and toss to cover. Cover and place in refrigerator for 4-8 hours or overnight.
Step 2
To a pan add bay leaf, cardamom, onion, tomato, and cashews. Cook until golden brown then remove and food process
Step 3
To same pan: add ginger garlic paste and 1 spoon red chili. Add the chicken. Allow to brown a little.
Step 4
Add the gravy, some water, and heavy cream. Allow to boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes
Step 5
Add dried fenugreek
Step 6
Serve with rice or bread
