Easy, Nourishing & Delicious: Massa Brown Rice Egg Bowl | Kitchn
This winter I’ve been drawn to bringing more whole grains into my diet. I’ve always intellectually understood that they’re better for me than processed grains but I’d never actually craved them until I was introduced to Massa Organics’ Brown Rice last fall. And now I honestly don’t know how I managed to feed myself without a large pot of this delicious, nutty rice in my refrigerator. Read on for my favorite recipe!

Instructions
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan over low heat. Add the onion and cook for about one minute, until the onion turns bright green. Add the rice, season with salt and pepper and stir gently until rice is hot. Add the peas and cook until peas heat through and are bright green.
Step 2
Spread the rice in an even layer over the bottom of the frying pan. Crack the egg(s) into a small bowl and carefully transfer them to the top of the rice layer. Season with salt and pepper and cover. Cook the egg to your desired doneness (I prefer a runny yolk.)
Step 3
Carefully spoon into your favorite bowl and enjoy!
