Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oil in a deep saucepan to 180C
Step 2
Slice the Halloumi into 1/2 inch cubes
Step 3
Mix together all the wet mix ingredients in one bowl, and the dry mix in another
Step 4
Dredge the Halloumi in the wet mix and ensure a full coating all over
Step 5
In small batches (will be about 4) transfer the Halloumi into the dry mix and ensure it is coated all over. Squeeze the flour into the Halloumi to ensure a thick coating
Step 6
Fry the Halloumi in small batches (probably 4 total) in the 180C oil for 3 minutes, tossing around half way through
Step 7
Transfer onto a draining rack/kitchen roll for a minute before serving up with dips of choice
