Instructions
Step 1
Heat a non stick saucepan over medium-high heat and add the butter to melt. Once melted, add the cream cheese and garlic/onion powder and whisk until the cream cheese has melted. Don't worry if it looks a little lumpy, it will smoothen out later.




Step 2
Add the cream and chicken stock slowly, whilst whisking constantly. Bring to boil, reduce the heat and add in parmesan cheese (optional) and pepper. Simmer for 6 - 8 minutes or until slightly thickened.




Step 3
Take the pan off the heat and allow the sauce to sit for at least 5 minutes to thicken up. Do not skip this step otherwise your sauce will be watery. Serve immediately over pasta of choice.
