Today we are making CLASSIC PESTO like a real Italian! ๐ Pesto literally means โto crushโ in Italian and it is a delicious basil sauce from Liguria region (north west of Italy). ๐ฟ
Today I am using a marble mortar to make my pesto but you can absolutely use a blender if you donโt have one! ๐ค

Step 1
In a blender (or marble mortar), add your garlic, pine nuts, fresh basil, Parmigiano cheese, a pinch of salt and olive oil.
Step 2
Blend everything until nice and creamy.
Step 3
In the meantime, boil your linguine in some salted water until al dente, drain and mix with your pesto in a bowl.
Step 4
Add a couple of spoons of pasta water to make it super sexy and stir everything until all the ingredients are combined.
Step 5
Serve with some extra Parmigiano cheese on top.
