Instructions
Step 1
mix bread crumbs, milk egg and dry ingredients together. let set 5 mins
Step 2
add ground beef, and mix thoroughly
Step 3
form 1 inch balls, and place on baking sheet
Step 4
in a high sided pan add 1 tbsp beef broth and 1tsp garlic, onion, fennel and oregano, to the two cans of tomato products.
Step 5
add one half can of tomato paste and 2 bay leaves. allow to simmer on medium low while the meatballs cook.
Step 6
after about 30 mins remove the meatballs from the over and add them to the sauce, simmer for an additional 15 mins.
Step 7
add to hoagie rolls top with mozzarella, enjoy
