Peal and cut your potatoes into small pieces.

Boil your potatoes for about 30 mins or until fork tender.

Mash your potatoes with a potato ricer and add them to a bowl.

Add your diced ham, chopped spring onion, egg, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and oil and mix everything with a spoon.

With the help of a funnel, add your potato mixture into an empty plastic bottle.
Step 6
In a pan, heat your sunflower to a temperature of 170C/340F then press your bottle on top of the oil until a small piece of potato mixture comes out.
