Step 1
1. Melt the butter in a pan, then add the chopped onion and fry until translucent. After this (2 mins later) add the minced onion until fragrant (one minute). If using bacon, half the butter and cook the bacon first. 2. Follow with the can of tomato sauce, the pesto and the cream. Add these one by one and wait for the sauce to reduce a littler. Add the peas here. 3. Add all of the condiments as well as some pasta water from the pasta that you’ve pre cooked aldente (a min less than the time stated on the box) 4. In a oven safe dish, add pasta mixed with the sauce and every couple of spoonfuls of the mixture and top with a lot of the cheese. Add to the oven for 15 minutes at 180 C.
