Instructions

Step 1
Mix the ground meat, maple syrup, herbs, and spices until fully combined. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form into patties.

2.Heat the skillet over medium heat with a small amount of butter. When the skillet is hot add the patties making sure there is space between them.
Step 3
3.Allow the patties to brown on the first side for 7-8 minutes. Turn the patties over and use the spatula to press and flatten the patty in the skillet.

4.Continue cooking the patties over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked, about 7-8 more minutes.
Step 5
5.These patties freeze really well both raw and cooked. You can place parchment paper between the raw patties then freeze and cook them up in the future. I like to freeze them cooked. You just let them cool down then separate them with parchment paper in your preferred container (I do a large plastic bag or silicone--both work well). You can freeze these for up to 3 months.
