This lovely protein shake bowl is a daily recipe for me. It provides you with a balanced mix of protein, healthy fats and carbohydrates.
Choose a protein powder of your choice, or you can replace with Greek yoghurt to add to this recipe. I choose pulisin protein powder as it's free from carbohydrates (glucose). If you want to encourage Oestrogen then you can use soy protein powder, otherwise, choose another protein powder e.g. whey (milk based), rice, pea or hemp. Note that pulsin is a little chalky and you might want to start with a flavoured protein powder to start with and small quantities (20g).
Ginger is anti-inflammatory and carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A which assists eye health. Combined with oranges for vitamin C and immune system support.
I've used Chia seeds in this menu, however it can be replaced with Flax seed if you want to promote Oestrogen.
If you find this too watery for your liking, reduce the water content and add another apple.
You can batch make this for a maximum 2 days.

Step 1
Save half the banana, half the orange, ricotta, sultanas, nuts and oats for the topping (adds soluble fibre to your diet). If you make this in the evening, you can add the oats to the bowl post blend and have it as overnight oats bowl.
Step 2
Place everything else into a blender and blend for 1 minute until it's a fairly thick mix.
Step 3
Stir in the oats and leave overnight or you can have this immediately. Add the saved banana half, orange half, ricotta, seeds and nuts as soluble fibre to the top of the bowl.
Step 4
If you find this too watery, increase the orange/banana content and decrease the water content
