Step 1
Crumble 4 of the 6 cinnamon rolls in a greased 9x13 pan. Melt the butter and let it cool, then whisk it with the 6 eggs and the half-and-half. Sprinkle most of the apple pieces and the mascarpone throughout the layer of crumbled cinnabun, then proceed to pour the buttery liquid on top of the bread. Squash it down, then cover with the remaining cinnamon rolls, more apple pieces, and the rest of the mascarpone.

Cream cheese may be used in place of mascarpone if desired.
