Step 1
In a skillet, begin cooking the ground chicken. Once cooked, add diced mushrooms and water chestnuts. Then add minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir until mushrooms are cooked. Add 1/2 green onion.
Step 2
In a bowel, whisk together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Add 1/2 of sauce over ground chicken mixture. Stir together, then remove from heat.
Step 3
Save remaining green onion and sauce for topping.
Step 4
Spoon the filling into individual leaves and top with remaining sauce and green onions. You can add more red pepper flakes if you like them spicy.
