Instructions

Step 1
Boil water, add 1 1/2 tsp of salt and 1 box of spaghetti or alfredo pasto. Cook pasta for 25 to 30 minutes at medium-high heat. When pasta is done, set aside a ladel of the noodle water to use with alfredo sauce. Then pour the cooked noodles into a colander to drain water and return to noodle pot. Cover and set aside.
Step 2
Pour jar of alfredo sauce into pot. Warm on med heat until you start to see bubbles.
Step 3
Add the cubes of cream cheese and stir until it's melted in sauce.
Step 4
Add the lemon juice. Pour the milk into the empty sauce jar and shake it real good. Pour it into the sauce.
Step 5
Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, basil, oregano, rosemary, shredded Parmasean cheese, salt and pepper. Stir all ingredients well. Pour ladel of spaghetti water that was set aside into sauce and mix well. If sauce is too thin, add a tbls of cornstarch (mixed with water) until you get the consistency you like (add cornstarch little by little until you get desired consistency). If it's too thick, slowly add a little milk or broth to the sauce until you get the desired consistency. Stir the sauce and let simmer on low for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add protein to the sauce, cover pot and let the sauce simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes until protein is cooked or hot while stirring often on low heat. Make sure sauce and protein don't burn or stick to pan. This is also where you would add desired vegetables (chopped or diced) to sauce mixture.
Step 7
When done, place cooked noodles on the plate, pour or place the protein and sauce over the noodles, (*Optional: top with Sun Dried Tomatoes), and top it with some more Parmasean cheese. Optional: You can also top with fresh parsley or freshly chopped chives.
Step 8
Tips: Different types of proteins you could use are baked chicken strips, baked turkey strips or cooked shrimp. You could also make it a veggie dish with your favorite vegetables and additions (ie. Diced Tomatoes, diced Sun Dried Tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, green peas.... get creative).
