Ingredients
5 servings
0.5 headcabbage
sliced
1green bell pepper
sliced
1 slicesred bell pepper
1yellow onion
sliced
8 ozcountry sausage
sliced diagonally into pieces
4 slicesbacon
thick cut
4garlic cloves
minced
1 tspchicken bouillon powder
½ tspred pepper flakes
¼ tspcayenne pepper
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
1 Tbspunsalted butter
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Over medium heat using a large skillet. Crisp up the bacon & set aside. Don’t toss the grease
Step 2
Add the sausage, once it begins to brown add the bell peppers. sauté for a few min then add the onions. Season with salt & pepper
Step 3
Add the cabbage and mix. Once the cabbage begins to cook down, add the seasoning listed. Add the garlic and butter and sauté for a few more minutes.
Step 4
Serve along sides your favorite main entrees and enjoy!
