Step 1
Mix all the ingredients for the Cajun seasoning. Cut the chicken into cubes, put it in a bowl and add some of the seasoning then stir to get the chicken cover in spices.
Step 2
Put the olive oil and butter in a pant. Heat the oil and butter over medium-high until the butter is melted and foamy. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for a couple minutes on each side, stop when the chicken gets some colour, it doesn't have to be fully cooked at this point.
Step 3
Add the onion to the chicken with more Cajun seasoning and keep cooking for about two minutes more, or just until the onion begins to soften.
Step 4
Add the pasta, the crushed tomatoes, salt and chicken broth. Stir until everything is evenly combined, then cover and let cook until the broth get to a boil.
Step 5
Once boiling, turn the heat down to medium-low and let the pasta simmer for about 10 minutes until they get tender and the liquid is saucy.
Step 6
Add sliced green onions as a topping and serve. Bon appétit!
