Yoshinoya’s Beef Bowl Copycat Recipe (Gyudon) is keeper! I don’t know what it is but I love Yoshinoya’s beef bowl and it’s not the easiest to get a hold of since there isn’t that many locations. Here’s my recipe to satisfy that craving.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut onions into thin slices and finely chop the green onions. Mix water and dashi stock powder together.
Step 2
Cook onions in a pan. Add dashi, mirin, rice vinegar, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sugar. Once the onions have softened, add in sliced beef. Cook meat until it’s no longer pick then simmer for few more minutes. Serve with some steamed rice, top with green onions, pickled ginger and pepper powder.
