Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Place the bread crumbs in a shallow dish and add the chicken to coat. Place the coated chicken in a 9-by-9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the Italian cheese over the top. Pour the tomato sauce over the coated chicken.

3. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

4. While the chicken bakes, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain.

5. Serve the pasta with the excess sauce from the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken and pasta with Parmesan cheese, if using.
