Hot slaw
5 steps
Prep:30minCook:15min
Threw together what I had in the fridge that needed to get used :). I call this hot slaw because I cook the cabbage down in the oven first. Doesn't stay hot :).
Came out really tasty, though, and figured I would share.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut up head of cabbage into little shreds as fine as you like really.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with foil, use olive oil and salt and pepper on the cabbage mix good arrange on sheets and place in oven at 374 for 15ish mins or longer depending on how done you like it. Just make sure not to over burn it. I like mine with some brown.
Step 3
While the cabbage is doing its thing get a bowl place one lime worth of juice in bowl, red onion (you can always use more than a half), 1 jalapeno again use more if you like, some green onion, some cilantro, and some tomatoe. All chopped up into bowl.
Step 4
Mix the stuff up in the bowl with a little more olive oil and a splash of vinegar, salt pepper to taste
Step 5
Once the cabbage is done take it out toss it into the bowl and toss the whole thing. Eat it right away or save for later let the stuff sit for added flavor.
