Instructions

Step 1
Cut up the onions, carrots, garlic and tomatoes

Fry the onions and carrots

Add garlic and lightly fry

Add the tomato paste and fry for a few minutes directly on the pot surface

Add the fresh tomatoes. Scrape the tomato paste using their juice and fry them till they lose shape

Add canned tomatoes from all types

Add a teaspoon of sugar and mix

Boil water for the soy. In the meantime let all the ingredients get mixed and soak up the sauce

Put the dry soy a strainer, pour boiling water over it and let it sit for a minute

Pour cold water to cool the soy, and then squeeze all the water from it and add to the pot ( I just squeeze a handful in my hand and drop it straight to the pot)

Once the sauce is ready, add a bit of balsamic vinegar to really help the tomato taste shine
