Instructions

Step 1
Cook Rice
Step 2
Cut beef into slices and place in bowl
Step 3
Create marinade for beef. Combine 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp rice wine, 1 tsp corn starch, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/8 tsp ground black pepper. Stir together and pour over beef. Mix with hands to cover all slices of beef.
Step 4
Create brown sauce. Combine 3 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp oyster sauce, 3 tbsp rice wine, 5 tsp sugar, 4 tsp corn starch, 1/4 tsp black pepper. Stir together and store in refrigerator for later
Step 5
In a pan, add enough water to cover one broccoli crown worth of Broccoli florets. Bring to a boil. Add Broccoli florets and blanch for 4-5 minutes. Remove and strain under cold water to keep Broccoli from cooking. Still want the crunch.
Step 6
Finely mince ginger and garlic cloves (should be about the same amount). Heat up a pan, add about a 2 tbsp of oil, then add garlic and ginger
Step 7
Cook garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds then add marinated beef. Brown each side (about 3-5 minutes) then add brown sauce.
Step 8
Add Broccoli florets, 1 tsp sesame oil, and mix together until sauce thickens. Serve
