Step 1
Crush tomatoes. (Optional: If using food processor, may want to blend nuts first, instead of crushing later on)
Step 2
Blend onions and garlic.
Step 3
Put isot in a small cup and pour over some oil to moisturize.
Step 4
Put crushed tomatoes, onions and garlic to a cup. Add the tomato paste. Mix.
Step 5
Add bulgur and kneed for some time, around 20-30 minutes. Add more tomato sauce or ice if too dry.
Step 6
Crush the nuts and mix all the spices in a cup.
Step 7
Pour the spice mix over the bulgur. Continue kneeding.
Step 8
Add the liquid oil and kneed for a few minutes. Done!
Step 9
Top up with chopped parsley or green onion. Eat with mint and lettuce.
