Instructions
Step 1
Soak oats in 4 cups of water for 5 minutes
Step 2
Stir them up, skim off the milk on top
Step 3
Add 4 cups of fresh water, stir and strain it through a sieve
Step 4
Heat a pan and add urad dal to lightly dry roast for 2-3 minutes
Step 5
Remove dal, let it cool, then dry grind it to a powder
Step 6
Add the water, oats, methi seeds, green chillies, onion, curry leaves, cumin, salt, sugar and urad dal to a mixer. Make sure batter is thick but a pouring consistency.
