Step 1
Mix 1 cup water with one packet of her box no sodium chicken bouillon granules to make chicken broth
Step 2
Pour half of the chicken broth into a skillet over medium heat until hot
Step 3
Add chopped onions and cook until soft
Step 4
Add pinto beans, cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes
Step 5
Stir in chili powder, salsa, cumin, and pepper. Cook approximately 5 more minutes.
Step 6
Remove from heat and let cool for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Then pour into a food processor, and remaining half cup of broth and chop until a smooth paste forms.
