Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
Step 2
Coat chicken pieces with flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Heat oil in a large frypan, add chicken, and cook until golden brown. Place chicken pieces in greased ovenproof dish.
Step 4
Fry onion and green pepper for 5 minutes, mix in drained asparagus.
Step 5
Put on top of chicken in casserole dish.
Step 6
Combine soup, water, herbs, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken and vegetables.
Step 7
Cover dish, bake at 180ºC for 1 ½ hours or until chicken is tender.
Step 8
Serve with rice.
