Step 1
Heat oil. Cook onion and garlic til soft.
Stir in tomato paste and cook for one minute.
Add chickpeas, chicken stock and tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Add pasta, basil, and rosemary. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes, until pasta is tender but firm.
Add parsley, salt and pepper to taste. when serving, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
