Instructions

Step 1
Chop the onion very fine, then squeeze it until it gets rid of the water (because the onion’s water prevents the kafta from sticking).
Step 2
Chop the parsley leaves and put in a large bowl, then add all the ingredients: (both types of ground meat - onions - seven spices - salt - Cayenne pepper).
Step 3
Knead with your hands the minced meat with the rest of the ingredients until well combined.
Step 4
Shape the minced meat in the form of pies or in the form of skewers, “preferably flat skewers“ and it is also preferable to leave the kafta skewers in the refrigerator for a little while so that the kafta will stick better and will not crumble during the barbecue.
Step 5
Heat the grill over a medium temperature, then lightly brush it with oil and put the kafta for 10 to 15 minutes until it is done.
Step 6
Serve hot the grilled kafta with lebanese bread, grilled onions and tomatoes.
Step 7
And it will be great to serve with the Lebanese Tabbouleh salad.
