Instructions
Step 1
Combine water, yeast and sugar in large bowl. Allow to sit 10 minutes.
Step 2
Add olive oil and salt. Gradually add flour. Mix until it begins to come together. Knead 5-6 minutes.
Step 3
Oil large bowl. Transfer dough to bowl and cover. Allow to rise 45 minutes.
Step 4
Punch dough down. Divide into 12 sections and roll into balls. Cover and allow to rise 15 minutes.
Step 5
Heavily flour balls. Roll or punch down to make flatbreads.
Step 6
Heat large skillet over medium heat. Add neutral oil. Add 1 pita and cook 1-2 minutes per side.
