Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Step 2
Begin frying the onion in the oil and after two minutes add the chopped garlic. Continue to fry for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the sambhar powder and cook for a further 30 seconds.
Step 4
Add the lentils (drained and rinsed) and the hot stock. Simmer gently, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Add the creme fraiche and serve.
