Step 1
Add dry ingredients to a bowl and mix




Step 2
Add liquid ingredients (and optionally a teaspoon of vanilla extract) to the bowl and mix until smooth

Add to lined or buttered tray

Put in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes at 175°c

Step 5
While sponge is in the oven, add caster sugar to a bowl and slowly add water in. Add one teaspoon at a time, mix thoroughly, and continue until desired consistency of icing




Step 6
Once sponge is cooled, add icing and rainbow sprinkles - cut, serve and enjoy!
