Step 1
Step 1 In a bowl beat the egg & milk together until the mixture is slightly frothy

Step 2 Sift the flour & baking powder into the bowl & mix until there are no lumps

Step 3 In a separate bowl combine the sugar & water
Step 4
Step 4 Once the sugar has dissolved add the "syrup" to the batter & stir
Step 5
Step 5 Place a pan on a stove on high heat & add the butter
Step 6
Step 6 Once the butter has browned slowly pour it into the batter mixture whilst continuously stirring
Step 7
Step 7 Place the pan back on the stove on medium heat
Step 8
Step 8 Pour a very thin layer of the batter into the pan
Step 9
Step 9 Once the edges of the pancake have turned brown (60s) flip it around & allow the other side to brown
