Instructions

Sushi rice

Step 1
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water is clear
Step 2
Boil the water and add the rice Cook with a lid on low heat for 15min. Then turn off the heat and put a bowl between the pot and lid. Let the rice rest for another 5-10min.

Add the rice vinegar, salt and sugar and give it a quick stir Let the rice cool on a plate while preparing the other ingredients

Crunchy tofu

Step 4
Slice the tofu into thin slices

Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on high. Add the tofu slices and season with salt, chili and turmeric. Fry for about 2 min each side until crispy and golden brown.

Reduce the heat to medium. Pure in the teriyaki sauce. Fry for one more minute.

Sauce

Step 7
Melt the peanut butter.
Step 8
Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar and water. Whisk until well combined. If the sauce is to thick add more water.

Sandwich

Step 9
Slice the avocado and bell pepper.
Step 10
Put half of the rice on the nori sheet and spread evenly. Sprinkle on half of the white and black sesame seeds.
Step 11
Turn the nori sheet and repeat on the other side.
Step 12
Drizzle on the peanut butter sauce. Then cut the nori sheet in half.
Step 13
Top one half with the tofu, avocado and bell pepper slices.
Step 14
Place the other nori sheet on top and enjoy!
