Step 1
Rinse the lentils and drain

Chop the carrots

In a large pot, pour the water, olive oil, vinegar, tomato passata, onion, garlic cloves, carrot (chopped), bay leaves, oregano and paprika

Bring to a boil
Step 5
Once it’s boiling, lower the heat and add the lentils
Step 6
Cover the pot and simmer for 35 minutes (low heat)
Step 7
Add the salt
Step 8
Continue cooking for another 15 minutes (low heat)
Step 9
Serve with bread and olives
