Stovetop set to high
Step 2
Add diced apple, milk, half n half, oats, salt, cinnamon, brown sugar & vanilla to pot & mix

Stovetop to medium once milk steams

5 minutes simmer, stirring occasionally

Oatmeal is done once a spoon swipe isn't immediately filled with liquid

Transfer to bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon, drizzle with honey and add crushed walnuts
