Instructions

Step 1
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
Step 2
Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Sprinkle garlic powder (if using) over the buttered side of one slice of bread.

Place the mozzarella cheese on top of the garlic powder.
Step 5
Place the provolone cheese on top of the mozzarella cheese.

Add the cooked and chopped bacon on top of the provolone cheese.

Place the second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top of the bacon.

Cook the grilled cheese sandwich for about 2-3 minutes per side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
