Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, wash the rice using cold water and repeat until the water runs clear and set aside.
Step 2
Then place all the ingredients into the rice cooker bowl and stir and switch on to cook. Optional: include 100g of reduce fat coconut milk.
Step 3
Allow the rice to steam for 25 minutes, once the rice is cooked the rice cooker will automatically switch to the warm setting when finished. Do not stir the rice during this process as it will make the rice sticky.
Step 4
Once cooked, the rice will be soft and fluffy, allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Step 5
Remove the scotch bonnet pepper, then fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
