Rhubarb Mint [SSC]
Rhubarb is reserved most often for an appearance in the quintessential baked pie, but I love using it unheated, allowing it to offer a tangy element that's a fun, fresh flavor for smoothies. You can buy frozen rhubarb at many stores, or simply chop it up fresh and freeze it yourself. (Note that the leaves of rhubarb are poisonous, so make sure to only use the red stalk.)
