Falafel dough
Step 1
Let the chickpeas soak overnight in a bowl of water
Make sure that the chickpeas are well covered
Step 2
Pour off the water from the chickpeas Cut the onion into cubes and add them to the chickpeas, together with the spices and the olive oil
Step 3
Then blend everything until a homogeneous mass is formed
Step 4
Form the dough into small flat balls and fry them over medium heat in about 50 ml of olive oil until they turn golden brown.
Vegetables
Step 5
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and lay it on a baking tray
Step 6
Drizzle the vegetables with the olive oil and add the spices
Mix everything well
Step 7
Roast the vegetables in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 min
Pita
Step 8
Heat up the pita and cut it open.
Then spread on the hummus
Step 9
Fill it with the salad the roasted vegetables and falafels
