Step 1
put the garlic and onion onto a pan with olive oil, cook until soft. Then add the tomatoe paste and cook until it appears darker (in color). Add heavy cream and vodka (optional). Then add red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Remove sauce from heat, cook pasta separately, save 1/4 a cup of pasta water! Add pasta, pasta water and 1tbsp of butter to the sauce. Then add parmesan cheese and stir, add more salt or pepper to taste if you like. Top with more parmesan cheese and basil to serve. There you go, this oneโs bit longer but itโs worth it. Enjoy๐ซถ
