Pasta is one of the most famous italian dishes. It is easy to make and most of the times all the ingredients are sitting in the fridge. This sauce is made with tomatoes, heavy cream and ham.

Cut the ham in small cubes.

Melt the butter in a pan and when is hot ease down the ham. Cook the ham in the butter as long as it takes to make it becoming a little crispy. Remove the ham from the pan and keep it aside.

Poor the tomato into the pan where the ham has been cooked, stir and slow down the heat.

While the tomato sauce is getting ready, you can start preparing a pot with water to cook the pasta. When the water is boiling add some salt and pasta. It is prefered to use a short type of pasta for this recipe. Let the pasta boil as long as indicated on the box.

While the pasta is getting ready, go back to the tomato sauce, add some salt, pepper, the heavy cream, the ham and some chopped parsley. Stir and continue cooking at low heat.

When the pasta is ready, strain it and ease it down in the pan with the sauce. Stir for a couple of minutes and serve adding some more parsley and grated parmesan.
