Instructions

Step 1
Mash down the blueberries (or whatever fruit you are using) to your desired consistency. Then add the sugar and let sit. (Sugar naturally draws out the juices of fruits)
Step 2
Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla until a you have a spreadable consistency.
Step 3
Mix together the blueberry compote and cream cheese mixture, until WELL blended.
Step 4
Melt butter in a large pan. Brown one side of each bread slice
Step 5
Spread a layer of blueberry-cream cheese filling on the browned side of EACH slice. Then sandwich them.
Step 6
In a small bowl whisk eggs, milk, turbinado sugar, vanilla and cinnamon together. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture to coat completely
Step 7
Melt butter on a griddle or skillet or large pan over medium heat. Cook sandwiches until golden brown on both sides.
Step 8
Top with powdered sugar and The Homemade Butter Syrup (found in recipe menu) 😊 ENJOY! 😊
