Rishta (Lentils and Spinach soup)
Thick and hearty Syrian Lebanese lentil soup with egg noodles. Recipe may be doubled.

Instructions
Step 1
Pick through lentils and remove debris. Rinse and set aside.
Step 2
Chop onions and saute in oil until Brown. Add garlic to onions and set aside.
Step 3
Place lentils in a pot with water and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 minutes until lentils are mostly cooked.
Step 4
Add spinach, noodles, onions, garlic and seasonings. Cook until pasta is tender. Splash lemon juice at the end.
