Instructions
Step 1
Peel and roughly chop potatoes and boil until fork tender
Step 2
Roughly chop onion and combine it with garlic, salt, and pepper in a blender and blend until combined.
Step 3
In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic mixture to cook off raw taste and season to taste.
Step 4
Drain potatoes and add salt, pepper, cayenne, onion/garlic mixture, milk or heavy whipping cream, and butter.
Step 5
Mash to desired texture.
