Step 1
Combine oats and coconut flakes in a large bowl. Set aside.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine ingredients for the sauce and heat over low until combined.
Step 3
Pour sauce over oat mixture and mix thoroughly. Press into a baking pan. Cook at 250 for 45min, then lower to 200 for 30 min (or until done).
Step 4
When cool add 1/4 cup of sliced almonds ($0.50), 1/4 cup of raisins ($0.83), and 1/4 chopped dates.
